Eating at School

Eating at School

We are a Nut Aware School - no nuts or nut products are to be at school.

Recess and Lunch

We advise parents to pack their child/ren food for recess and lunchtime.

At recess time, students take out their food in the yard and sit with their friends to eat.

At lunchtime, students stay in their class to eat under the supervision of a teacher.

In some classes, students may also have a healthy snack time, early in the morning.

We would encourage parents to send their children's food to school in a container that they can independently open themselves. We also encourage packing healthy food and minimising lollies and treats.

We discourage parents from sending their child to school with items that need to be heated as there are safety concerns with hot food and children.

Subway delivers lunches to school each day. To purchase from Subway- use the Qkr app.  The directions on how to use this ap are in the finance section of the website.
